We are Dan and Celia Cuellar of Sunshine Bernese Mountain Dogs
Our family living at home consists of our Bernese Mt dogs, 2 sheep and 3 cows. We live on 12.5
acres in Northern, California.
Dan has worked for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. for the past 38 years.
I dedicate all of my time to our Bernese Mt. Dogs, our children,
and our dog related functions.
The start of my animal life was in breeding, training, and showing horses from the age of 8 years.
We have been breeding dogs since 1984. Our start was in Labrador Retrievers; our last litter in Labs was in 1995.
Bailey and Celia sharing secrets
We have been breeding Bernese Mt Dogs since 1992. We have bred over 50 champions, won at multiple specialties,
and won a Best in Show with our homebred boy Dakota along with multiple group placements with our Bernese, and many
awards of Merit at National Specialties.
Our dogs have been top producers of champions and working dogs throughout the country for many years.
We have imported new lines from Canada, Belgium, Norway, and Sweden to improve the health of our dogs.

Jesse our middle son, lives in San Luis Obispo and is a graduate of Cal Poly with a degree in Engineering. Jesse is now working for Pacific Gas and Electric companion their nuclear power plant: Diablo Canyon. Jesse and Amy married in March, 2011. Amy is currently a wine maker, and even has her own wine. Her new label is Brave New Wines.

Jason and Vanessa
Our oldest son Jason and his wife Vanessa graduated from the residency program at NYU hospital as orthopedic surgeons. They lived in New York for 6 years. They both graduated from the Stanford Medical School. Jason also has a PHD in physiology from the University of Davis. They just finished there fellowship in Los Angeles Jason, a fellowship in spine surgery and hand specialty surgery for Vanessa. (see below for website links)
